As a retired customer of various Yellow operating units, I experienced several versions of the "next" rescue plan. The CARES Act cash infusion was the last and greatest hope, extending the financial runway for Yellow. Unfortunately, for Yellow, the industry has moved on from large, cumbersome legacy carriers. Despite the ongoing efforts and sacrifices of employees, the end appears to be in sight. A sad situation indeed.
